How can I connect to WorldCat Discovery catalog with Z39.50 in ILLiad

Symptom

• Your library wants to have its catalog accessible in ILLiad with Z39.50

Resolution

Create a Z39.50 connection in the Customization Manager:

1. In the Customization Manager, go to the Z39.50 tab
2. Click New, and select OTHER from the drop-down.
3. Name the connection "WorldCat Discovery."
4. Set the Server Address to zcat.oclc.org.
5. Set the port to 210.
6. The database name should be "OLUCWorldCat"
7.  The username should be one of your institution's catalog Authorization numbers.
8. The password should be the password that goes with that Authorization number.
