If I update my WebPlatform API key in the ILLiad Customization Manager, do any services need to be restarted?

• You updated your WebPlatform API key and you want to know if any service needs to be restarted in ILLiad

Resolution

Here are the steps you need to take after updating the Webplatform API key:

1. You need to have the IIS service restarted.
2. If you are hosted please contact OCLC Support.  Otherwise, please contact your Web Server Administrator.
3. Now, you need to restart your ILLiad Client.
