How does the ATLAS Authentication Portal work with ILLiad?
Symptom
- You have two different authentication types, but you want one page to direct everyone based upon their authentication type. You need a Landing Page that all requests go to before going to ILLiad.

Resolution
You need to do the following to set up the Authentication Portal.
- If you are hosted by OCLC, then you need to contact OCLC to set up the Portal.
- You will then need to follow the instructions on Using an Authentication Portal Landing Page and Configuring the ATLAS Authentication Portal.
- If you are self-hosted, your Web Server Administrator will need to set up your Portal Page and then you configure the ATLAS Authentication Portal.
