How do I use a non-standard SQL port in ILLiad?
Symptom
- You want to use port 1344 instead of 1433 which is the default port for ILLiad and you want to know how to set this up in the ATLAS SQL Alias Manager

Resolution
You can use port 1344. On the line where you see the Server name, you put a comma and 1344. So if the Server name is:
oclc.illiad.oclc.org
Then you change it to:
oclc.illiad.oclc.org,1344
Save the change. Set as Default. You should be able to use port 1344 now. If not, you need to check with your SQL Administrator to make sure that port 1344 is allowed and your Firewall people to make sure that port is open on the network to your SQL Server.
