Why are patrons not receiving their Article Exchange emails?
Symptom
- When staff utilize the "Email doc to patron" button, the patron does not receive the email notifying them that their Article Exchange request has been filled.

Resolution
Patrons may not be receiving emails related to their Article Exchange requests because the emails are being blocked by your institution's spam filters or by the patron's email server.
To resolve this:
- Check with your IT department to ensure that the emails are authorized to pass through your institution's spam filters.
- Confirm with the patron that their email server isn't blocking them from receiving the Article Exchange emails.
