Does the status 'Considering' influence the Days to Respond?

Answer

When a request has the status 'Considering', it means that the lending library that is currently looking at your borrowing request is reviewing whether they can supply or not. This status is just information given to you by the lending library, it does not influence the system.

So it might be that a request will age to the next lender, even when the previous library in the lender string marked it as 'Considering'. If that happens, the status will change back to 'Submitted'.
