ILS locations
Define pickup location names and optional location codes for circulation integration, request transfer, and general coordination and communication within your library. Specify which pickup locations are included on your request form to help library users and ILL staff specify the preferred pickup location for requested items.
To add a new location:
- Select Add location.
- Enter the Location name, Location code, and Location type.
- Click Save.
To edit the location, select the pencil icon in the Edit column. Designate whether a location is Active or Inactive by selecting the appropriate toggle in the Status column.
To enable specific locations on the request form for your library's users, navigate to the Request Forms section of the WorldShare ILL module in the OCLC Service Configuration. Refer to Request Forms for more information. The specified pickup locations then display on the library users' request form as well as in the staff interface.
