Identifiers will be used for placing holds on requested items and checking out shipped items. An identifier can be configured for any borrowing institution symbol. A default identifier can be used if an institution-specific identifier is not configured. If no identifier has been configured, the borrower’s institution symbol will be used. Note: III Sierra libraries are required to assign a barcode to their ILL account in the ILS and then put that barcode in as the default borrower identifier. |
