Is there a way to limit search results by year?

Applies to
  • WorldShare Record Manager
Answer

Yes, you can limit your search results using the search facets. You will likely have to click on the Show Facets button at the top of your search result screen. Once the facets open up, you will find year as one of the options. Selecting a year by clicking the checkbox will sort the search results by that year.

Record Manager limits the available year selections to the first 24 years with the most linked records. For searches of more generic titles or prolific authors, you may notice some year filters missing. If you don't see the year you're looking for, it's likely because there are too few records with that publication year to surface in the list.
