Alternate Produce Options

Find out how to access and use the Alternate Produce Options window in Connexion client.

Purpose of the Alternate Produce Options window

 Note: Catalog card production is an obsolete service. This window can only be used for setting holdings.

Select alternate produce options for accession lists when you add holdings to a record or add a new record to WorldCat, including:

  • Selecting the All Produce option.
  • Selecting the Ad Produce option.
  • Selecting both of the above options.

Access the Alternate Produce Options window

  1. Log on to Connexion.
  2. Retrieve the record or workform for which you want to set holdings or add as a new record, and at the same time, an accessions list.
  3. Navigate to Action > Holdings > Alternate Produce and Update or press <Alt><A><H><A>.
  4. Click OK.

Alternate Produce Options window: Features and buttons

Feature How to use
All Produce check box

 Note: This option is obsolete.

Select the check box to produce cards for the receiving catalogs for all holding library codes in field 049 subfield a.

Codes may be in one subfield $a, separated by commas, or in multiple subfield $a's.

Default: Check box is cleared. Option is not selected.
Ad Produce check box

 Note: This option is obsolete.

Select the check box to produce added cards for the receiving catalogs for the first holding library code in field 049 subfield $a.

The holding library code in 049 subfield $a must be profiled to receive added cards.

Default: Check box is cleared. Option is not selected.

 

Button Click the button to...
OK Send the Alternate Produce and Update action.
Cancel Cancel the Alternate Produce and Update action. The window closes.
