CONTENTdm password reset
Symptom
- You forgot your CONTENTdm (classic version) password and need to reset it

Resolution
CONTENTdm (classic version) uses OCLC LDAP accounts for authentication. The following link can be used to reset a password: https://ldap-accounts.oclc.org/forgot
NOTE: OCLC LDAP accounts do not support special characters in either the username or the password. If either contains special characters, resetting the password might not be possible.

Additional information
If a CONTENTdm (classic version) username starts with a CDM\#####admin or CDM\#####user these are considered legacy accounts and can no longer be managed. See adding new users here for more info.
