New features and enhancements
Support title-level licensing via platform API
You can now create and update title-level licenses via the platform API. This enables you to use title-level licensing functionality via the API as well as the user interface. Several months ago, we introduced support for adding specific titles in the WorldCat knowledgebase to a license. This is now existing functionality. But users were not able yet to create and update these licenses via the platform API. Now you can manage both collection-level and title-level licenses via the platform API. The specific changes to the API include:
- Search by title name
- Search by title UID
- Filter license by license-level (e.g. collection or title)
- Create licenses with license-level specified (default value is collection level)
- Allow providing of source institution ID for collections added to a license
- Add titles to a title-level license
Note: When adding a title to a license, if you only provide the title and collection ID (without the source institution ID), the system will automatically add to the license the KB title that is already in your holdings or if none are in your holdings the first title returned by the WorldCat knowledgebase
Bug fixes
The system now harvests the correct month(s) when performing a one-time SUSHI or aggregator harvest. Previously, when running a one-time SUSHI or aggregator harvest, the system was harvesting the previous month rather than the month selected in the user interface. Now, the correct month(s) are harvested.
