About Online Item Lists
Find an overview of Online Item Lists in GreenGlass.
Throughout GreenGlass, lists of items can be retrieved via any hyperlinked tally.
- Query Builder displays Item lists at the bottom of the right panel.
- Remediation Lists are static pre-populated lists of items.
- Known Item Search allows you to retrieve a desired item or set of items by entering a specific record number or unique identifier.
Lists of items are always sorted by the library's call number. Data elements immediately visible in the list include:
- The library's call number that is derived from the library's item or bib record.
- The library's location code.
- The title, author, edition, enumeration, publisher, and publication year. These elements are drawn from the 245 and 260 fields in the library's MARC record.
- A link to the library's OPAC record.
Note: In the online item list, related ebooks are presented immediately below their print counterparts with eBook present in the Location column. GreenGlass construes a platform or provider name from the 856 URI.
Clicking on this brief item display reveals additional data elements, supplied by GreenGlass. We think of this information as deselection metadata. For more information, refer to Data element descriptions.
