The EZproxy messages.txt file records information every time EZproxy is started or restarted. This file also contains alerts of non-fatal errors. These alerts can be helpful when troubleshooting problems that arise with EZproxy.

The table below provides descriptions of the alerts that might appear in messages.txt and how to address them. Additional alerts will be added.

This warning will appear for both IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.	No action is necessary. This message is recorded as a check to make sure you intend to include a large block of IP addresses for one of the given directive actions.
