Find an Open Access item from the search results

  1. From your search results, select Filter > Open Access > Apply to view all available Open Access options.
  2. Locate the item you want to access and click the Access Free button. The item opens in a new tab.

Find an Open Access item from the Item Details screen

If an Open Access version exists for the item, an Open Access box appears on the Item Details screen.

  1. From the Item Details screen, click the Access free button. The item opens in a new tab.
  2. (Optional) Click Show more to view all available Open Access providers. Click a provider to open the item in a new tab. This option only appears if an Open Access version exists from multiple providers.
