New features and enhancements
Date, volume, and issue number now displayed on magazines/serials
TLC-LS2 library users now see the date, volume, and issue information for serials
When your users view the copies on the item details screen of a magazine or serial, they will now see the full information of the item, including the volume, issue number, and date. Previously, users only saw the item's call number (e.g. MAG HGTV) and could not tell what issues your library owned.
Sierra library users now see the date, volume, and issue information for serials
When your users view the copies on the item details screen of a magazine or serial, they will now see the full information of the item, including the volume, issue number, and date. Previously, users only saw a blank call number field, and could not tell what issues your library owned.
Bug fixes
Duplication of "due" and "checked out" have been removed
For all ILSs, on the Checked Out Items screen of your user's Account, duplication of the phrases "Due:" and "Checked Out:" have been removed. Previously, some users were seeing this duplication when viewing their checked-out items.
SirsiDynix Symphony renewal changes
Users no longer see the renew button when an item is not renewable
When looking at the My Checkouts screen, your users will no longer see the 'Renew' button on the item or have the ability to select the item for renewal when no renewals are remaining on the item. Previously, your users could select to renew the item and would receive a renewal failure message because the item was not renewable.
'Renew Selected' button does not appear when no items are renewable
When no items in your users' checkout list are renewable, the 'Renew Selected' button toward the bottom of the screen will not display. Previously, using the 'Renew Selected' button when no items were renewable, a message was received saying: "You have no renewable checkouts".
