Collection Manager roles and descriptions

Role Description
Everyone

This check box must remain selected.

Collection Manager Admin

Staff members with this role can:

  • Create, edit, and delete other user accounts
  • Create, edit, and view data sync collections
  • Perform all tasks in Collection Manager
  • Access OCLC Service Configuration

 Note: If your institution has access to Record Manager, the staff member can perform all tasks in Record Manager.

Collection Manager Reports Viewer Staff members with this role can run WorldCat knowledge base reports from the Analytics module.
Collection Manager Supervisor 

Staff members with this role can:

  • Perform all tasks in Collection Manager but cannot manage other user accounts
Collection Manager Staff

Staff members with this role:

  • Have read-only access but cannot perform tasks in Collection Manager or manage other user accounts
