If users don't have notifications turned on will they still get Article Exchange links in My Account?

As long as you have Article Exchange turned on for the request and the lender library sends it through that mode, the user will still see the link in their account and be able to download it there. However, they will not receive a notification when it is available in the portal. 

If the lender sends it to you via email, you'll need to upload it to Article Exchange for it to appear.
