Allow RFTS through a Windows 7 firewall

Learn how to allow the Relais File Transfer Service (RFTS) program to communicate through a Windows 7 firewall.
  1. From the windows control panel, select the windows firewall applet.
  2. Select Allow a program or feature through Windows firewall.

  1. Click Allow another program....

  1. Click Add.
  2. For:
    1. Windows 7 32-bit:
      1. Browse to C:\Program Files\Relais International\Relais File Transfer Service\
      2. Select RelaisFileTransfer.exe.
      3. Click Open.
    2. Windows 7 64-bit:
      1. Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Relais International\Relais File Transfer Service\
      2. Select RelaisFileTransfer.exe.
      3. Click Open.

  1. Confirm that the Relais File Transfer Library is selected and click Add.
