The server response could not be understood error when uploading a Data sync file

Symptom
  • When uploading a file for data sync, you get an error message stating "The server response could not be understood."

  • WorldShare Collection Manager 
Resolution

Change the file name in some way. For example, add a number or the date to the file name. Then try to upload the file again. If you still receive the error message, contact OCLC Support with your library symbol, the file you are trying to upload and the data sync collection ID.
