When searching OCLC numbers in Connexion browser, I receive a "System Failure Page" error.

  • When you search for an OCLC number in Connexion browser, you receive an error that reads: "System Failure Page: Unable to successfully complete transaction." Other searches (ISBN, title, keyword, etc.) work properly, but OCLC number does not.

When searching in Connexion browser, ensure the dropdown below the Command Line Search box has an option selected. This dropdown is between "Show" and "if Single Record Found." If no option is selected in this dropdown, you will receive this error. Choosing either "Bibliographic Record" or "Local Holdings" should resolve the issue.

If you have made this change, but still see the error, contact OCLC Support with your OCLC Symbol and a screenshot of the error page.
