Is it possible to search by only the first subject tag in the MARC record?

- You'd like to search by subject, but want to get only the first subject tag assigned rather than searching every subject tag in the record.

Resolution
No, this is not possible. When indexing of MARC records occurs it does not differentiate by the position of the subject tag in the MARC record.
