Error: "Invalid client action" in Connexion
Symptom
- When attempting to do an action in Connexion, such as adding or deleting holdings, you get an error message reading: "Invalid client action"

Resolution
Your individual Connexion authorization doesn't have the authorization level required to perform the action. For example, if your authorization is set to Limited, then you won't be able to set or delete holdings. You would need a Full service authorization. See OCLC cataloging authorization levels for record actions and upgrades for a description of each service level. You should get in touch with the user who requested your authorization for more information on why your authorization is limited. Authorization change requests can be made by filling out the OCLC Access & Authorization form.
