Live classes

Connexion client 1: Foundations of Connexion client

This course provides foundational knowledge about OCLC Connexion client software and the copy cataloging workflow. After completing this course, learners will have the foundational knowledge to use Connexion client as a copy cataloging tool and access help tools within Connexion client. Learners will also be able to navigate the program and set up Connexion client to begin a work session efficiently. Other courses in this series will build upon the information shared in this session.

OCLC strongly recommends that newly assigned copy catalogers take Foundations of Connexion client, Bibliographic searching, and Record editing and processing in sequence. Together, these three modules provide the foundation of knowledge for newly assigned copy catalogers to work successfully with Connexion client.

Note: OCLC strongly recommends viewing MARC Bibliographic Basics before taking this course. This video provides a brief introduction to the MARC bibliographic format.
