Move [or Copy] Local File Record

Find out how to access and use the Move [or Copy] Local File Record window in Connexion client.

Purpose of the Move [or Copy] Local File Record window

  • Copy the current local record or records selected in a list to another local file you specify
  • Available for bibliographic and authority local save files and local constant data files.

Access the Move [or Copy] Local File Record window

  1. Navigate to Action > Move or press <Alt><A><V> to move the displayed record or records selected in a local file list to another local file (removes it from the current local file).
    Or
    Navigate to Action > Copy Record or press <Alt><A><Y> to copy the displayed record or records selected in a local file list to another local file.

Feature How to use
List of local files and path names Select the file to which you want to copy or move the record or selected records.

 

Button name Click the button to...
Local File Manager Open the Local File Manager window to create a new local file or make other changes to local files as needed.
OK Move or copy the record to the selected local file and close the window.
Cancel Cancel moving or copying the record and close the window.
