Why do my CONTENTdm OAI harvests keep failing?

Symptom

• OAI feed from CONTENTdm is timing out and/or failing in ILS or during harvest

Resolution

OAI-PMH is PHP-based and can take a while to process requests. If your harvests continually fail, please reach out to OCLC Support and provide the following:

1. CONTENTdm Server ID
2. Collection name/alias where the harvest fails
3. A debug log if one is available
