Transcript field not filled after adding Word-based PDFs in Project client

Symptom
  • You added a PDF item that originally came from a MS Word document to a collection in the Project client, but the full text transcription field is not filled in.

  • CONTENTdm
Resolution

The text is added to the first full-text field found in your collection's field definition. If there is no full text field in a collection, no text will be added. Make sure that you have a field set up as full text in the CONTENTdm Admin site under Collection > Field properties.
