I deleted a CONTENTdm collection, but its custom pages are still appearing on our site.

Symptom

  • Custom pages for deleted collections are still appearing on your public CONTENTdm site.

Resolution

When you delete a CONTENTdm collection, the custom files in the Website Configuration Tool are not deleted. If you create a collection with the same alias, you'll be able to access those files in the Config Tool and delete or edit them from there.
 
If you want to keep using that custom page, you can just keep the new collection as an unpublished collection so that it doesn't show up on the public site.
