CONTENTdm Project Client returns the error "not enough quota is available" when creating a project.

  • When attempting to create a new project, an error window opens with the text " not enough quota is available."

This is most likely the result of restricted user access to the Client directory on the device's C:\ or equivalent drive. This can be tested via the following:

  1. Right-click on the Project Client icon, and
  2. Select Run as administrator.
  3. Follow the normal steps to Create New Project.

If a project is created without resulting the in the above error, you will need to reach out to local IT support for assistance assigning your user account the necessary permissions.
