Attempting to add OCR license in Project Client but receiving a pathway error
Symptom
- Receiving the error "Could not find a part of the path C:\ProgramData\ABBYY\SDK\12\Licenses" when attempting to add an OCR license via the Project Settings Manager

Resolution
The integrated ABBYY FineReader SDK 12 is installed simultaneously with the Project Client, however firewalls often prevent the successful installation of this separate service. Ensure the following to confirm your OCR functionality was installed properly:
- The ABBYY SDK 12 Licensing Service should appear in the list of Services (Local) on the device
- The appropriate Local User account should have Full Control of the directory
C:\ProgramData\ABBYYand all subdirectories
If neither the service nor the directory is present on the device, the CONTENTdm Project Client will need to be uninstalled and reinstalled. The most common reason for the ABBYY integration failing to install correctly is due to Firewall rules, and Local Support needs to be contacted to have the firewall disabled or removed during the installation.
