Serials Claimed Summary

Overview

The Serials Claimed Summary report displays a summary of serials claimed by publication frequency. This report defaults to serials claimed in the last 12 months, but you can adjust the filter to a different time frame as needed. You can use this report to provide statistics on claimed journal titles.

 Note: Claiming values are aggregated at the title level, and are not provided at the specific issue.

Report details

  • Dataset: Serials Received
  • Data refresh rate: This report's data is updated nightly. It will be updated by 6 a.m. at your institution's data center time. The data will be "as of" the end of the previous day.
  • Data history start date: Date since the institution started using the Serials module.
  • Default date range: The last 12 months
  • Report type: Interactive

Slicer

The Serials Claimed Summary report has a Publication Frequency slicer that can be applied to the table. By default, the slicer is set to All.

Select one or more of the available values to update the report visuals. Values include:

  • Select all (Default)
  • Annual
  • Bimonthly
  • Daily
  • Every 2 Years
  • Monthly
  • N/A - No publication frequency was assigned.
  • Not Specified
  • Semiannual
  • Weekly

Visuals

The Serials Claimed Summary report contains three visuals.

Total Issue Claims

The total number of issues claimed in the specified date range.

Issue Claims by Publication Frequency

The number of issues claimed by publication frequency within the specified date range.

  • Click a publication frequency to change all of the report visuals.
  • Reclick the publication frequency to restore all visuals in the report to the default.
