Why are Withdrawn Items not showing up on the Circulation Event Details report?

Only withdrawn temporary items and containers will appear on the Circulation Events Detail Report. If an institution withdraws a WorldCat item from their catalog that will not appear in the Circulation Events Detail Report. The item will appear on the Circulation Item Inventories or the Circulation Add-Delete Report because there is a withdrawn date, but no event is generated which is why it isn't in the Circulation Events Detail Report.
The item's checkouts and renewals will continue to appear in the Monthly Circulation Statistics Report, even after the item is withdrawn and purged.
