How do I find items with duplicate barcodes?

This is only for those who have Report Designer as part of their subscription to WMS.
This report can be used in several ways by adjusting the query filters and result objects.
To locate the OCLC numbers of items that have duplicate Item Barcodes do the following:
- Select Analytics > Reports > Report Launch pad.
- Select Applications > Web Intelligence at top of screen.
- Select the New icon from the tool bar.
- Note: If the New icon is grayed out, you do not have an active Report Designer subscription.
- Select Universe > Ok > LHR Item detail > OK.
- Open Title folder > select OCLC number > drag into the Results Object box.
- Select Title and drag into the Results Object box
- Select Author name and it drag into the Results Object box
- Select LHR Item details folder > LHR Item barcode.
- Select LHR Item details folder > select LHR Item call number and drag into the Results Object box ,in the order you want them to appear.
- Then add Query Filter > Measures > LHR Item Count > drag into Query filters box> select Greater than > type 1./li>
- Then select > LHR Item details folder > LHR Item barcode > drag into Query filters box > select Not equal to > type N/A.
- Select > Run query to see preview of results /select refresh if you alter the report objects or query filter settings.
- Then select Save as > Items with Duplicate barcodes > in your web intelligence folder for your branch.
- You can then export this Report to excel or a PDF if you wish.
To locate duplicate Item Barcodes appearing on different bib Records do the following:
- Select > Analytics > Reports > Report Launch pad.
- Select > Application > Web Intelligence at top of screen.
- Select > New icon from the tool bar.
- Select > Universe > Ok > LHR Item detail > OK
- Select > LHR Item details folder > LHR Item barcode > drag into top box.
- Select > Measures folder > LHR Item count > drag into the Results object box
- Then add Query Filter > Measures > LHR Item Count > drag into Query filters > select Greater than > type 1.
- Select > Run query to see preview of results /select refresh if you alter the report objects or query filter settings.
- Then select Save as > Items with Duplicate barcodes appearing on different Bib records> in your web intelligence folder for your branch.
- You can then export this Report to Excel or a PDF if you wish.
- Once you have your list of Barcodes, you will then need to search for these in Circulation, to locate these items with identical barcodes and alter one.
