Why is the shelving location of my item outlined in red?

Answer
The cause is an invalid or incorrectly recognized shelving location.
Typical symptoms include error messages (e.g. “Unrecognized Shelving Location”), a highlighted/invalid location field, or failed reservations.

Correct the affected shelving locations in the system.

If single items still show the issue: open Edit Item, reselect the shelving location, and save the item.

After correction, reservations should work without errors
