Why is a staff note popping up when checking-in an item when there is not a note on the item?
Symptom
- Staff acknowledgement popping up when no staff note is currently present on the item
Resolution
This staff note was previously on the item but its deletion did not completely go through the system:
- Open the item and add a staff note
- Save the item
- Delete the staff note
- Save the item
- Check-in the item to ensure the note no longer appears

If the note continues to appear, please contact OCLC Support with the barcode of the item and a screenshot of the note that is appearing.
