Why are my changes to email notifications not saving?

Answer

When making edits to any email notification, be aware that the length of the text allowed in these boxes have a character limit of 500 characters, including spaces and symbols. 

• After making an edit to one or more of these notification message boxes, and you receive an error message Error updating the entry when you click Save changes, the most likely cause is you have exceeded the number of characters allowed in these text boxes  
• Reduce the number of characters to less than 500 and you will be able to save your notification changes
