I am getting an error message when cataloging a book and it shows "null" in the call number.

A value of "null" may appear in a call number if a blank call number field is included in the record in WorldShare Circulation. Use the following steps to correct this issue: 

  1. Open WorldShare Circulation and go to Discover Items
  2. Bring up the item through a barcode search. 
  3. Select Edit Item.
  4. Use the minus option (-) to remove extraneous boxes for prefixes, cutters, and suffixes as needed. 
  5. Select Save Item
