How do I keep withdrawn barcodes from being purged?

Symptom

• Barcodes are in withdrawn status and are scheduled to be purged, but you have decided to keep the barcodes.

• WorldShare Circulation

Resolution

To get barcodes out of withdrawn status, perform the following steps:

1. Go to the Local Holdings Record with the withdrawn barcode in Record Manager. 
2. Add a note to the field with the barcode. 
3. Save the Local Holdings Record. 
4. Check in the barcode in WorldShare Circulation. 
5. Return to Record Manager and delete the note from the field with the barcode.
