Create a local resource
Discover how to create a local resource (e.g., furniture, office supplies, etc.) in WorldShare Acquisitions.
A local resource is a physical or nonphysical item that does not belong in WorldCat or the knowledge base (e.g., membership, furniture, office supplies, technology, etc.).
Note: A local resource cannot:
- Be changed to a WorldCat record or WorldCat knowledge base record after you order it.
- Be deleted once it has been used to create an invoice or order item. This is true even if the local resource is removed from an invoice or order before the invoice or order is submitted.
- Navigate to Local Resources > Local Resources.
- Click Create Local Resource.
