How do I transfer a report from my Test system to Live?

Answer

In your Test system:

1. Go to OLIB Reports > Reports.
2. Change the search type to System Reports.
3. Click report SYS004 - Retrieve Report Definition and modify the record.
4. In the Report field select the report you wish to copy from the drop-down list.
5. In Output Type select Excel File (csv) attached to email.
6. Click Preview Report.
7. Copy and paste all of the text in the preview window.

In you Live system:

1. Go to OLIB Reports > Reports and click New Record.
2. In the Raw Definition tab, paste the text that you had copied in the Test system.
3. Click Save and Continue. This will copy over the report and populate the relevant fields.
