These URLs are critical as they point to the production WorldCat metadata API, not a test instance. If these URLs are not present, you will not get any response when you click the Get Holdings Codes button below. |
||||
OCLC Cutter Style | Cutter style is selected from drop down.
Z Server Configuration This is part of the process when setting up your OLIB database as a Z server so that external organisations can search your OLIB database. This is useful in third-party discovery systems, for example, so that users of these systems can link directly back to the record in Folio without having to repeat the search. |
|||||
Include STT Link? | Set to Yes to include a StraightToTitle link in the MARC record which is returned from the Z Server.
STT Link URL | The URL of your library's public-facing OPAC (WebView). The Z Server will append ?oid=[titleno] to the end of this URL. This field must be completed if you set Include STT Link to Yes.

Include STR Link? | Set to Yes to include a StraightToReserve link in the MARC record which is returned from the Z Server.

Proxy Password | |||||
FTP Timeouts To make timeouts for FTP configurable these settings are available. These timeouts occur if there is no response from the FTP site. This is relevant to several functional areas of OLIB such as: · Exporting to 3rd party systems · Exporting Records to a Discovery Service or WorldCat data sync · Integration with Supplier online services · Automated retrieval of MARC record from WorldShare Collection Manager These 2 connections are part of the FTP protocol. |
|||||
Control | Timeout for the communication of the transfer e.g. looking at ftp directories. Enter the timeout period you require in seconds, e.g. 300 seconds for 5 mins. If not specified, this will default to 30 seconds.
Data | This is the connection that is open when the data is transferred. Enter the timeout period you require in seconds, e.g. 300 seconds for 5 mins. If not specified, this will default to 30 seconds. |
