What standard should my data adhere to?

WMS data migration requires conformance to MARC21.
On analyzing your OLIB data, exceptions can normally be worked through with the advice of the OCLC data specialist.

Data transfer for OLIB includes as standard:

Monographs
Monographic Series
Serials data
Electronic resources - managed through WorldShare Collection Manager/WorldCat Knowledge Base which means that separate item records will no longer be required to represent your e-resources
Item “Copies” data

OCLC use three standard documents:

Data Migration Questionnaire
Scope Statement
Translation Table

OCLC Community Centre

OCLC will supply Login credentials for you to access the OCLC Community Centre.
You will be able to access the listed Communities and Popular Resources to help with your WMS Implementation.
