Why is EZproxy crashing after adding a stanza?

Symptom

• EZproxy crashes after adding a stanza

• Self Hosted EZproxy 

Resolution

EZproxy will tell you why it can't start in the messages.txt file. It logs issues when it starts or attempts to start. However, if you recently updated a stanza, you may have added more text than needed.

1. Search config.txt for the word IncludeFile
2. Remove the IncludeFile directive and the text that follows it
