Not receiving calendar invites or Webex access links, or Webex says you're not registered

Symptom

  • You have registered for an event or webinar in the Community Center, but you do not receive emails with the calendar invite or Webex link, and when you try to join the meeting it says you're not registered

Resolution

When you register for an event or webinar in the Community Center, it uses the email address in your WorldShare account. If you are entering a different email address when trying to access the meeting, it will say you're not registered. You can either update your email address on your WorldShare account, or be sure to enter the correct email address when trying to join the meeting.

As a workaround, you can try these options:

  • Go to the event page and click the appropriate option next to Add to Calendar. Use iCal for Outlook or Google for Google Calendar. The calendar event should have a link.
  • When the event starts, go to the event page in the Community Center and re-register when joining the meeting and you should be able to get in.
