After logging into WorldShare you do not see the left-hand column, only the WorldShare logo

Symptom

  • WorldShare allows you to log in, but it does not show a work screen, only the WorldShare logo.

  • WorldShare Interlibrary loan
  • WorldShare Record Manager
  • WorldShare Collection Manager
  • WorldShare Analytics
  • WorldShare Circulation WorldShare Acquisitions 
  • WorldShare License Manager

Resolution

If your WorldShare URL looks like this https://<your WorldShare instance name>worldcat.org/wms/cmnd/. You are not seeing a module because that URL does not point to a specific module.  For example, to go directly to the Interlibrary Loan tab, you'd add "nd/" to the end of the URL. Without it, WorldShare will appear with the logo, but no buttons or tools will appear.  Here's a list of the modules with their codes: 

WorldShare Acquisitions = acq/

WorldShare Analytics = analytics/

WorldShare Circulation = circ/

WorldShare ILL = nd/

WorldShare License Manager = lman/

WorldShare Metadata = metadata/
