  • Include all letters and numbers.
  • Include the period.
  • Omit all other punctuation.
  • Omit spaces.
  • Searches retrieve records containing first set of numbers following the period (up to first prime), if present, including records that contain groups of numbers following first set.
  • In Connexion, scan an index from the Command Line Search by entering the Scan command (sca), the index label with appropriate punctuation, and the term, and then clicking Search (example: sca dd:616.46). For more information, see Browse (scan an index).
