When I try to share search results via email, the recipient never receives the email.

Symptom

  • When you share a WorldCat Discovery search result via email, the recipient never receives the email.

Resolution

Make sure the email address you entered for the recipient is correct, and have them check their junk/spam folders to make sure the emails are not being misdirected.

If they are not appearing in the spam folder, OCLC emails may be blocked by your email provider. Contact your IT department or email administrator and ask them to safelist the email addresses notices@e.worldcat.org and notices@e2.worldcat.org or the IP addresses 129.33.239.222 and 208.73.7.73.
