What is wrong when error "Permissions Required: Additional permissions are required to view this content" appears?
Symptom
- The error "Permissions Required: Additional permissions are required to view this content" appears when I try to click on the MARC record button on a record's WorldCat Discovery page.

Resolution
Your WorldShare user account needs at least one WorldCat Discovery role assigned to it in order to view MARC records in WorldCat Discovery.
Please review WorldCat Discovery roles and decide which role is appropriate for your account.
Then see if there are any Discovery admin users at your library. If no users with the Discovery Admin role exists, please contact OCLC Support with what you have already tried, a full-page screenshot of the error message, and which role you need.
