How to correct identical records when duplicated and displaying twice in Discovery ?

Symptom

• After conducting a search in Discovery, results return two identical records with same title & same OCLC number

• WorldCat Discovery 

Resolution

To fix this issue, please contact OCLC Support and provide the following if possible:  

• The OCLC number of the record
• A link to the search in WorldCat Discovery
• A full page screenshot of the issue

Additional information

Duplication can also happen on article records with unique identifiers.
