How can a library make its holdings visible on WorldCat.org to people who reach the site directly or from partner sites such as Google Books, Goodreads, or Wikipedia?
Applies to
- WorldCat.org
Answer
Libraries whose collections are represented in WorldCat can make their resources visible on WorldCat.org with the following:
- In the U.S. and Canada, maintain a FirstSearch/WorldCat Discovery subscription. This subscription gives you the use of both the FirstSearch and WorldCat Discovery services, along with the benefit of visibility on WorldCat.org.
- Outside North America, maintain a WorldCat.org subscription for visibility on WorldCat.org.
